The RSA Great Recovery
The RSA Great Recovery project has used design thinking and methodologies to investigate the challenges and opportunities for a circular economy. Our current manufacturing model of ‘take-make-dispose’ is throwing up major economic and environmental challenges. Populations are growing in size and affluence, materials are becoming more scarce, risk to our supply chains is increasing and the cost of waste is higher than ever.
Over 4 years Paul Wyatt produced 35 films highlighting the relationship between materials, waste and design. The films received a high level of audience engagement thanks to their clear and accessible approach to the subject matter.
