The Tipping Point
The Story
What happens to your unwanted TV or flat pack wardrobe once you’ve dropped it off at the nearest recycling facility? Rich Gilbert from The Agency of Design, Alexander Groves from Studio Swine and Thomas Thwaites were invited to take part in a unique project which gave them a first-hand insight into what happens to what we throw away.

This short film follows the team as they experience “something out of a sci-fi movie” which is the huge industrial process of energy from waste and a family run textile recycling business.
“It really is so fascinating. Everyone should watch it”
Alexander Kenmure, Camden Council
“Circular economies, please retweet this video. It’s for everyone”
Neringa Plange, Lecturer
